You can book Delhi Metro tickets through WhatsApp, which can help you avoid long queues and make the ticket booking process more convenient.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has introduced a convenient option for passengers to book metro tickets through WhatsApp, eliminating the need to stand in long queues. Here’s how you can book a metro ticket using this new system:

  1. Send ‘Hi’ to +91 9650855800 on WhatsApp or scan the QR codes displayed at metro stations to open a chat window.
  2. Select your preferred language.
  3. Tap on the ‘Buy Ticket’ option and enter your source and destination stations.
  4. Choose the number of tickets you need.
  5. Review the provided information and make the payment using the available payment link.
  6. Once the payment is completed, you will receive a QR code-based ticket on WhatsApp.

Please note that you can book a maximum of 6 tickets at a time using this service, and ticket cancellations are not allowed. The tickets you purchase are valid for the entire day and can be scanned at metro stations to start your journey.

This innovative initiative by DMRC aims to make the ticket booking process more user-friendly and efficient for passengers, especially in the bustling Delhi NCR region.
